The Baidu Apollo self-driving travel service platform “Radish Run” has officially landed in Nanshan District, the innovation highland of Shenzhen, to provide self-driving demonstration application travel services for the public. By now, Baidu has achieved full service coverage of the super tier 1 cities in North, Guangzhou and Shenzhen. Up to now, the total mileage of Baidu Apollo self-driving test has exceeded 21 million kilometers, and its self-driving travel service platform “Radish Run” has been opened in seven cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chongqing, Changsha, and Cangzhou, for manned test operation service.

The demonstration application of “Radish Run” in Shenzhen is open for regular use, users can experience the self-driving travel service through the “Radish Run” app, and nearly 50 stations will be opened initially, with running hours from 9:00 to 17:00. The route covers Shenzhen Bay Vientiane City, Poly Culture Square, Talent Park and other core locations. In the future, “Radish Express” will continue to expand its routes, and it is expected that by the end of 2022, the scale of stations in the travel service area will reach more than 300, in addition, Apollo Moon, a new generation of mass-produced unmanned vehicle, has also joined the “Radish Express”.
